Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Arrive in Edinburgh Scotland


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have arrived in Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, for their fifth official royal appearance since their engagement in November. And it’s their first outing in Scotland; the two have previously visited both England and Wales.

Markle chose to wear trousers again—a favorite work look of hers—along with a tartan coat and turtleneck. The pants are Veronica Beard, and the jacket? $2,895 by Burberry. Fan accounts believe the remaining pieces appear to be Strathberry (the bag) and Wolford (the turtleneck). She wore her hair down and curled.

While Markle and Harry weren’t photographed holding hands, the two were joyous as they arrived at Edinburgh Castle to walk around and greet their Scottish supporters. Harry chose a grey coat along with a dark sweater, collared top, and black pants.

Markle and Harry are to scheduled to spend the full day in Edinburgh, a full 400 miles away from Kensington Palace, where the couple live. That’s an hour and ten minute nonstop flight or a five and a half hour train ride. The couple “will attend engagements at @edinburghcastle, local social enterprise @SocialBite_, and a reception celebrating youth achievement to mark Scottish Year of Young People at the Palace of Holyroodhouse,” the Palace shared on Twitter.
