Glossier Reveals Its Newest Product on Beyoncé at the Grammys


This is one of those all-stars-aligning moment: a cult-favorite beauty brand and, well, everyone’s favorite, Beyoncé, have joined forces.

Glossier took to Instagram to announce that not only was Queen Bey wearing the brand, but, the post hinted, she was wearing a new, not-yet-launched product.

Captioned “Beyoncé wears ___ in ___ (coming soon), Boy Brow in Brown, Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream, and Perfecting Skin Tint in Dark + Dee” the post revealed the details of Bey’s look created by Sir John.

It looks like we can expect a Glossier eyeshadow in 2018. Is it a powder? Is it a shimmer gloss? Is that why she was wearing sunglasses? Will we also get a new album with it?

Sir John was pretty vague about the launch himself, but did elaborate on Bey’s makeup inspiration for Grammys weekend.

“I worked closely with Beyoncé and the team to create three very strong looks for each event and we wanted to make a major impact on Grammys night,” Sir John said in a statement provided by Glossier. “The inspiration was Black Panther and if I describe the beauty look as ‘rebellion.’ She is wearing a large hat, sunglasses and strong hair so I wanted the makeup to compliment that.”

As for the new mystery eye product, Sir John simply teased, “I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to try a new an exciting product from Glossier. Stay tuned to hear more but I LOVED using it on Bey all weekend.”
